Integrated Client Care – Implementation Kickoff

Core members of improvement teams from the four early implementation sites met at the Implementation Kickoff in Toronto, April 13 – 15, 2010 — the first of four educational events supporting the Integrated Client Care Project. Over 90 participants had an opportunity for team building while learning together about the value principles, goals, and methods of Integrated Client Care.

CHQI led half-day sessions to prepare the teams for their improvement work. Project leaders, improvement advisors, and improvement teams were introduced to the art and science of effective improvement through quality improvement methodologies, tools, and skill building. Executive sponsors participated in a workshop on leadership for quality, including planning for sustainability and spread of successful change projects.
